1. Create Hurricane Forms: Create or update forms to use in response to hurricanes. Prepare forms for multiple scenarios, such as a mass casualty incident, evacuation, or reunification. (Help Page | Training Video) 
2. Create a Hurricane Incident Type: If a hurricane happens, you can create a hurricane incident in EMTrack to coordinate resources and keep others informed. To create hurricane incidents more quickly, you should create an incident type for hurricanes. If you already have a hurricane incident type, make sure it is up to date. (Help Page | Training Video) 
3. Configure Filters and Dashboards: Determine if your existing filters and dashboards are effective for a hurricane response. Update or add new filters and dashboards as needed. (Filters Help Page and Training Video | Dashboards Help Page and Training Video)  
4. Add Users: Make sure that every staff member who needs to access EMTrack has an EMTrack account. Add new users as needed. (Help Page | Training Video) 
5. Review Access and Permissions: Users should log in and confirm that they can access all the information and features they need. This will help you resolve login and permissions issues ahead of time. You may need to resolve permissions issues by updating users’ roles. (Help Page | Training Video) 
6. Download the Mobile App: To improve access to EMTrack, users should download the EMTrack mobile app (available on iOS™, Android™, and FirstNet™). With the mobile app, you can continue to scan or create patients for tracking while offline. This data is uploaded when you reconnect to the internet. If you have already downloaded the app, make sure it is updated to the latest version. 

In addition to these steps, you may want to run a hurricane drill to verify that everything is configured properly and resolve any issues your users might run into.
