What initially attracted you to Juvare, and what keeps you here today?

What initially attracted me to Juvare was the name of the company. I remember looking it up and finding out that it meant “to help” in Latin and thought that it was excellent to see a company named after a powerful verb. The idea of working for a company named Juvare made me imagine that working here would tie well with my bias towards action/willingness to help, and that I would be working with a likeminded team. What keeps me here today is that what I imagined was correct!

What initially attracted you to Juvare, and what keeps you here today?

I’ve been in Public Safety technical sales for the majority of my career. Moving to EM was a nice change of pace that allowed me to learn a new market while still helping the public. I love my clients.

What’s unique about the team or work environment at Juvare that you appreciate?

What stands out to me about Juvare is the collaborative spirit and camaraderie in every project. People from diverse expertise come together with trust and respect, driven by a shared mission to make a positive impact. It’s rewarding to contribute to both the communities we serve and the strong community we’re building within Juvare.

When a group of Texas EMResource Admins called my cell, in the middle of the night, a few days post-Katrina, apologizing for waking me up, but requesting my assistance in standing up Situational Awareness queries in anticipation of receiving massive numbers of citizen and patient evacuees. It was the honor of a lifetime to know that I could provide valuable and critical services during that time of monumental needs.

When my an Admin client in Missouri told me she regarded Juvare as a partner, not a vendor.

Can you describe a moment or experience at Juvare that made you feel proud of your work?

During Hurricane Helene, I was looking at a news story on CNN about the state preparing for the impact. There was a photograph of a very busy command center full of people and display screens – and there was our WebEOC software. What we do was right there, helping people. I felt very proud in that moment.

Can you describe a moment or experience at Juvare that made you feel proud of your work?

Whenever I see our solutions actively supporting organizations in managing large events, incidents, or natural disasters, I feel a sense of pride in our team's work on the workflows and technology. It was especially rewarding to see our own City of Atlanta leverage WebEOC to enhance coordination and management during this year's elections, knowing my team helped create the solution.

What excites you most about the future at Juvare?

In our day-to-day work or during crisis, we all rely on others to achieve success and to improve going way forward. Juvare has a vibrate client community than understands the need to take responsibility, the role for supporting each other, and how both impact our communities and lives. I’m excited about the future of Juvare because of who we work with, who we support, and how we can leverage our unique solutions to further public service or private enterprise goals and objectives. We all have a role, and I believe Juvare fulfills a technology provider role that is unmatched.
