System Requirements for UCP Secure and UCP Fusion
Environment

UCP Secure and UCP Fusion can run in a physical or virtual environment, provided the dedicated resources meet or exceed the specifications detailed above.

RabbitMQ (Required for UCP Secure)

The RabbitMQ server may be installed on the application server or on another server accessible from the application server. Before installation, verify that:

  • RabbitMQ Server is installed and the RabbitMQ service is running.
  • The application server has network connectivity to the RabbitMQ server.
  • Required firewall rules have been configured. The default AMQP port is TCP 5672.
  • The RabbitMQ hostname, port, virtual host, username, and password that will be used by the application are available to the installer.

RabbitMQ Documentation and Downloads — Official RabbitMQ resources:

The RabbitMQ download page provides links to the current RabbitMQ Server packages as well as platform-specific installation instructions. For Windows installations, RabbitMQ’s documentation also covers the required Erlang/OTP installation and configuration.

Important: Installation should not proceed until the RabbitMQ service is running and connectivity from the application server to RabbitMQ has been verified.
