Australian Emergency Services organisations were heavily represented at the 5th Annual Juvaree Awards, with two individuals and three organisations receiving awards for their significant contributions to building resilient communities across the region.

Dr Sara Pulford – South Australian State Emergency Service (SES)
Sara delivered innovative ways to expand the use of WebEOC to meet the complex demands of the South Australian State Emergency Service, including incorporating drone footage from flood-affected areas directly into their solution to increase situational awareness for leadership teams and stakeholders.

Recognizes how sharing knowledge and information about Juvare solutions helps users around the world prepare and respond to emergencies more effectively.

Administrators from each award-winning South Australian organisation meet monthly to share innovations, discuss opportunities for future integration, and promote information sharing across departments.
Exceptional Response Award
Recognizes a client response to a crisis or incident that leveraged Juvare solutions and was also recognized externally as a high profile or otherwise difficult response to manage.
WINNER
Roxene Murphy – Western Australia Department of Fire & Emergency Services (DFES)
Roxene delivered innovative enhancements to the DFES incident resource management solution allowing the organisation to track, record, and manage:
- Individual requirements of team members, including medical, dietary, accommodation, and rostering requirements.
- Physical assets throughout each phase and escalation/de-escalation of an incident including, agency owned, contractor-supplied, or locally-aquired.
The new solution was deployed and used in several complex fires involving multiple agencies and enabled teams attending fire zones to check-in easily using their mobile app. Both administrative and logistics teams had complete visibility of their people on the ground, increasing the safety and effectiveness of the incident response. Comprehensive data allowed detailed financial tracking in real-time.
