Secure Interorganizational Messaging and File Sharing for the Juvare Community
Effective emergency preparedness and response initiatives require extensive collaboration across jurisdictional and disciplinary boundaries. However, these boundaries can be difficult to overcome without granting external stakeholders access to internal systems or developing complicated workarounds that involve logging in to multiple unrelated platforms.
JX Collaborate™—a key component of the Juvare Exchange® solution family—is a highly secure peer-to-peer messaging and information-sharing platform designed to help organizations in the Juvare Community™ refine best practices and coordinate with close partners for improved outcomes.
Unlike other messaging platforms that can complicate or limit communication with external colleagues, JX Collaborate has been developed to facilitate interorganizational partnerships in accordance with the unique standards and requirements of Juvare’s government, healthcare, corporate, and non-profit clients. The platform’s configurable chat networks and drag-and-drop file attachment capabilities are fast and flexible enough for emergencies while robust enough for daily operations.
With JX Collaborate, users of Juvare solutions including WebEOC®, EMResource®, EMTrack®, and Juvare Unified Command Platform™ (UCP) can easily build relationships with colleagues at other organizations and work together to develop innovative answers to commonly shared problems. Basic JX Collaborate features are included through SaaS or Juvare-hosted subscriptions to any of the above solutions.
JX Collaborate serves as a common chat and file-sharing platform for the entire Juvare Community, making it easier to message and exchange information with select partners regardless of location or sector. Emergency managers can use the platform to keep in touch with colleagues in other jurisdictions, while healthcare organizations can send real-time updates and documents to public health authorities. Corporations can communicate directly with government stakeholders to notify them about the operational status of key services and to stay informed about shelter openings, evacuations, re-entry policies, road closures, and more.
Networks can be created in moments with configurable controls over what organizations can join. Public networks are accessible to all members of the platform, while invite-only public networks allow for broader visibility without sacrificing the owner’s ability to manage membership levels. Private networks facilitate collaboration between relevant stakeholders in circumstances where confidentiality is required or where overexposure may be disadvantageous.
Organization profiles offer an overview of the public networks to which each participating organization belongs. Profiles also give organizations the opportunity to describe their missions, operations, and objectives in standard terms that other members can use to highlight shared priorities, identify resources, and build connections. Each organization can customize what information is displayed to ensure that its member profile reflects official perspectives and established guidelines. Private networks are only visible to a member organization’s admins and users.
With JX Collaborate, information, updates, and media can be shared with partner organizations quickly, securely, and easily through a wide variety of file formats:
