Juvare Receives DoD IL5 Authorization
We at Juvare are proud to announce that we have achieved Impact Level 5 (IL5) Provisional Authorization (PA) from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). This designation, issued by the Defense Information and Systems Agency (DISA) and sponsored by the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), certifies that Juvare Federal Cloud (JFC) meets the DoD’s most stringent security requirements for cloud environments handling highly sensitive government data.
What is IL5 Authorization?
IL5 authorization is one of the highest security classifications in the DoD’s cloud computing security framework. It applies to Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), Mission Critical Information, and National Security Systems (NSS), ensuring that certified platforms can securely manage highly sensitive government data.
To achieve IL5 authorization, Juvare had to pass rigorous security assessments, demonstrating adherence to DoD’s Zero Trust Strategy through advanced encryption protocols, controlled access, and robust threat protection. This certification builds upon Juvare’s FedRAMP High Agency ATO authorization in 2023, further proving its commitment to security and compliance in the federal-civilian and military ecosystem. These solutions are hosted on Amazon Web Services and powered and secured by SMX Elevate managed services and intelligent automation platform.
Why IL5 Authorization Matters
For federal agencies, military organizations, and emergency management teams, IL5 certification is more than a compliance milestone—it is a guarantee of security and operational reliability. IL5-authorized platforms are designed to withstand cyber threats, support classified operations, and adapt to evolving security challenges.
Our IL5 authorization ensures that our solutions, including Unified Command Platform (UCP) and Juvare Exchange®, are built to support real-time situational awareness, secure communications, and coordinated emergency response efforts. By meeting IL5 standards, Juvare provides agencies with the highest level of confidence in managing critical incidents and national security operations.
Juvare's Commitment to Federal and Defense Agencies
We have long been a trusted partner for federal and defense agencies, offering cutting-edge solutions that enhance operational readiness and crisis response. With IL5 authorization, our solutions are now validated to meet the highest DoD security requirements.
Through platforms like WebEOC®, UCP, and Juvare Federal Solutions Suite, agencies can:
- Safeguard sensitive data with military-grade security and compliance.
- Ensure seamless collaboration across government and defense sectors.
- Deploy scalable, cloud-based solutions that meet mission-critical demands.
- Enhance rapid decision-making through real-time situational awareness.
Our IL5 authorization also supports the mission of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), which is responsible for securing the Pentagon’s personnel, facilities, and operations. With IL5-certified solutions, PFPA can respond rapidly to evolving threats, ensuring the safety of those who protect our nation.
What This Means for Juvare Clients
